They also sell European patterns, stock luxurious bridal fabrics, specialty threads, and costume fabrics. Large selection of sewing notions and supplies. Large selection of quality trims (beaded and embroidered), appliques (lace, beads, sequins, rhinestones), and Austrian crystals by the yard. They offer a variety of classes, have big annual sales (typically July 4th weekend), and ads in the Sunday paper each week with specials. Excellent buys when they have sales! I’ve seen a whole table of silk go half price. They also have their own Bargain Annex next door to their store that includes a wide selection of fabrics and trims. My experience is that these people really know their fabric and their business. They also sell sewing machines.

"Serving all your fancy feather needs." They carry fancy feathers, boas, feathered masks and headpieces, feather fans, angel wings, and plumes. This the only place we know that sells ostrich feathers pre-trimmed into the "spike" shape used in some Vegas- style headdresses. Their bulk feathers are priced by the pound--color mixing OK. (For example, we asked for a one-pound bag of their better grade of ostrich plumes and asked for 25% red, 25% white, 50% black, and it was no problem.) They also carry a very nice line of pre-made Mardi-Gras style masks which can be worn or displayed; these have extra-large eyeholes and are quite comfortable to wear. No catalog, but price sheet available (you need to know your feather terminology), and color brochure available on the masks and boas. Accepts MC, Visa, AmEx, personal checks. Accepts mail and phone orders. Will ship outside the U.S. Mail-order, or visit their store. Both retail and wholesale. No minimum purchase amount. (KD, RD, DDD, CS, DJ)
